PROUDEST
SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE: Winning AUG Gold in Adelaide, 2012. The final against Melbourne
Uni was neck-in neck, and I nearly sabotaged our hopes by missing two bonus
shots in the last minute. The fact that we pulled through is testament to how
talented and deep our squad was, it was awesome to be part of.
HOW
MANY AUG’S HAVE YOU PLAYED (INCLUDING 2015): 5
WHEN
DID YOU START PLAYING? WHAT GOT YOU STARTED? Under
12’s when I was 10. My Mum didn’t want me to get hurt playing footy as a bottom
age player.
FAVOURITE
PLAYER GROWING UP? Vashon Weaver. He played for Latrobe City
when I was growing up in Gippsland. My friends and I would see him training in
the local stadium and were just in awe of his work ethic and on-court
performance. (He’s also a Monash Basketball Alumnus)
WOULD
YOU PREFER TO BE THE UNDERDOG OR THE FAVOURITE? Underdog
BEFORE
A GAME I ALWAYS...Constantly re-tie my shoelaces. Some people
will tell you shoelace tension isn’t the most important factor in athletic
performance. Those people are liars.
WHEN
I’M NOT AT UNI, COMPETING OR TRAINING I AM... Playing
video games or hanging out with friends.
FUN
FACT: About 2 kilos of your body weight is bacteria!
