In just under a week, over 40 students will compete in events including slopestyle skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding and freestyle events.

"I am delighted that the 2014 Monash University AUC Snowsports team and I congratulate our sport manager, Zoe Gerardson for her leadership and coordination of the university's representation. I wish our team every success on the slopes," Martin said.

Sport Manager, Zoe Gerardson, is looking forward to taking the winning reins from The University of Melbourne, who won the 2013 Snow Sports event.

"I'm pumped for the event," said Zoe.

Zoe is a multi-talented athlete, having competed in the Alpine Giant Slalom, Boarder Cross, Boarder Cross and Snowboard PGS events in 2013 Snow Sports.

The competition runs from Wednesday 3 to Saturday 7 September at Victoria's own Mount Buller.

Ewa won silver in the 2013 Alpine Slalom event, and just missed out on a medal in the Skier Cross and Alpine Super G events.

"I would definitely hope for a podium finish and to help Monash win the overall title," Ewa said.
