TeamMONASH athletes enjoying themselves at the 'Welcome Function'

TeamMONASH begin their hunt for the AUGs championship with fantastic results. They compete with athletes from all over Australian Universities in over 30 sports, including netball, water polo, rugby 7’s, and tennis. 

In Beach Volleyball, both men and women’s team held a strong lead from the beginning. The men’s team thrashed their opponents, the University of Melbourne, and the University of New South Wales. The women’s team defeated University of Tasmania and Deakin University. "It was a great start, which gives us the confidence to strive for gold!" said sport manager, Eloise Richard. 

The TeamMONASH faced off against a strong opponent, University of Melbourne, in Baseball. However, they beat RMIT University in an incredibly close score, and took 2nd position in the game.

The Tenpin Bowling team claimed silver overall last year, and is determined to fight for gold. They are on track to achieve this by winning both their games against The University of Western Australia (UWA) and Edith Cowan University (ECU).
