Monash University's Service to the Community Awardee for 2015
Monash University's 2015 Service to the Community Awardee is Stefan Smith!
He took on the impossible task of transforming the Club’s Committee, previously reliant on key individuals, to an autonomous and structured student organisation. Stefan’s leadership has also attracted a number of members toward Committee involvement and fostered many of the Club’s officers to realise the extent of their responsibilities to their peers. He has been critical in improving the clubs service to the Monash Community and its members.
Stefan, as the Monash University Outdoors Club's President, has been a passionate leader for the club and a clear catalyst for MUOC's transformation over the last two years.
